Xbox fans will be happy to know that we haven’t seen the last of the war between humans and Locust. he huge Xbox exclusive Gears of War franchise is now officially owned by Microsoft. After a deal made with the original owners Epic Games, Microsoft is sending the project to Black Tusk Studios which part of Microsoft Game Studios. The studio, housed in Vancouver, BC., will be joined by Epic Games’ Director of Production Rod Fergusson and will be a part of future titles developed through Microsoft Game Studios. Gears of War will likely be just one of those titles.
Gears of War as a franchise has sold over 22 million games since the first games creation, which helped push the franchise to gross over $1 billion in sales.
